NETSA 2011 Hall of Fame Announcement   2/2/11

It is with great honor and pride, that the Board of Directors of the New England Tire and Service Association, announce the 2011 Hall of Fame inductees. NETSA will induct Richard “Dick” Cole (ME) and Barry Steinberg (MA) as well as historical candidate Jack Axelrod (CT). The announcement was made today by Jim Melvin Jr., Hall of Fame Committee Chair and Vice President Tire Pro’s of RI.

A few years ago members of the NETSA board established the Hall of Fame in order to recognize those individuals who have distinguished themselves in the Tire and Automotive Service Industry in New England. All honorees have contributed with heartfelt passion and countless hours towards the development of the industry and have undoubtedly become outstanding leaders within their respective communities.

Established in 1952 the purpose of the New England Tire and Service Association is to benefit the public by supporting independently owned tire dealerships and automotive service centers. Currently with a solid member base of over 450 and growing, NETSA will continue to provide up to date information on the many aspects of the Tire & Automotive service industry to its members.
