What is MATDA?  The Mid-America Tire Dealers Association was incorporated on July 30, 1990 with the independent tire dealers and their businesses in mind.

The mission of the MATDA is to promote closer cooperation and better understanding between the tire dealers of Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma; to provide professional lobbying and governmental relations; to provide effective training and education to enhance members’ business acumen and help them better serve the consumer; to promote public understanding of the tire industry’s concern for the environment, and to provide such services and activities that are proper and necessary to achieve these mutual goals.

Why should I be a Mid-America Tire Dealers Association member?

New Scrip Fund Raising for MATDA

Thousands of non-profit organizations across the US are joining together with retailers to raise money. They do it with “scrip” the revolutionary fundraising method that can raise dollars for MATDA without the hassles of traditional fundraising.

With scrip fundraising, our members simply do their regular shopping with gift cards or buy gift cards for employees or customers from America’s favorite retailers. With each purchase, MATDA earns cash rebates that can quickly add up; money that can be used for our scholarship fund, to offset dues, sponsor member training, offset convention registrations or whatever the MATDA Board feels our organization needs.

Scrip is a powerful fundraising tool because members generate revenue through purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.  Through our scrip center there is a huge selection of scrip gift cards from America’s favorite retailers.  Take a look at our list of of retailers attached. Our scrip partner works with retailers to offer hundreds of gift cards with substantial rebates. MATDA buys the scrip gift cards, at a discount, and re-sells them to our members for full face value. The discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is a rebate retained by MATDA as revenue.

Steps....

1. Look at the list for retailers you’d like gift cards from. Note that there are many more available to choose from. If you don’t see a retailer you frequent, call to inquire (785.286.1110) if it’s available.

2. Fill in the form with the cards you’d like to purchase.

3. Send your check made payable to MATDA in the amount you’re purchasing, with your:

• your name

• mailing address

• phone number to 7321 NW Rocheser Rd., Topeka, Ks 66617

4. You should receive your gift cards the very next week.

That’s an easy way to do it!!  See the form HERE.  Send in your form today.

of mismanaged tires that have been improperly disposed.
