MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Active member: shall be independent landfill owners doing business in the state of Kansas.Dues are based on total annual solid waste tonnage. Business Volume in Dollars Dues
Affiliate Member: any additional individual from the active members business entity who wants to join the association. For example, a key employee, or a sales representative for an Active KLA member in good standing. This membership will not have the right to vote. Dues = $150
Associate Member: Any business entity involved, related to or providing services to the solid waste industry wishing to join that association. This membership will not have the right to vote. Dues = $250
Your dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. However, your dues are deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
