A facet is a face that can reflect & transmit light. Some diamonds have 58 facets. In this new series we’ll look at facets of God to better understand Him, then see what that facet of God means to you.
"Those who know your name will trust in you, or you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you." Psalm 9: 10

Moses said "Here am I" (Hineni) when he was called by God.
I’m here with my whole being, not just just present physically, as the word, poh, means “present” as in a roll or “I’m here.”
Abraham, Isaiah, Samuel, Jacob, Elijah, in NT Mary expressed it.
Read the whole story in Exodus 3: 1-15
Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. Exodus 3: 13-15

Think - what does each of Jesus’ “I am…” mean to you.
Write it down, and watch your faith grow!
What does God’s facet of “I AM” mean to you?
By using the Name, "I AM" God tells us that He is:
Personal
- God is
not just a force or higher power.
He reasons, feels, remembers & chooses.
Eternal
- not I
was or will be, but I AM.
Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I AM." John 8:58
All
places at once
Consistent
Because of who He’s chosen to be, we can trust Him
As we trust Him, we have PEACE
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9: 10
The bush was burning, but not consumed.
Moses reaction was to turn aside & see this sight
Do you want the people to turn aside? Are you a sight?
Not burning? Nothing to see here. Things are "under control”.
Burning & being consumed? Emotion & drama, naturally.
Like Moses, people will turn aside & notice when you have hot trials, but are not consumed.
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. John 14:1
May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in Him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13
