As a Christian church, our three-fold purpose comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said all the Law & the Prophets are summed up in these two:
to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind" and
to "love your neighbor as yourself."
3. Jesus said to "Go & make disciples of all nations."
We seek to equip people to have healthy relationships
with God & the panorama of people in our lives,
& to work with God in making disciples.
Matthew 22: 37-39 & Matthew 28: 19.
So men ought to regard us as servants of Christ, & as those entrusted with the secret things of God.
Now it is required that those who are given a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4: 1-2
We want to be faithful to God’s call at this time, in this place, so we seek to:
Co-operate with God & other believers in being & making disciples of Jesus here & around the world..
Jesus’ Great Commission: Mathew 28: 19; 1 John 1: 5 to 2: 6.
Reflect God’s love in our attitudes, words & actions to both God & our neighbors.
Jesus’ Great Commandment: John 13: 34-35; 1 Corinthians 13; Ephesians 5: 22-25; 1 John 4: 7-21
Be a house of prayer for all nations.
Jesus’ Great Reminder: Isaiah 56: 7; Matthew 21: 13.
Be a people who worship God in spirit and truth.
John 4: 23-24
